Vent Info FOR CLAN MEMBERS please read carefully

Hi its LJ. Ok This is the Vent Info. I have Had permission to do this off Our ventrillo runner:) This is a communication program, so we can talk to each other in clan matches, in games etc.
Ok i hope this helps as it took me a While.

Ok first click the link and download what i point to on the PICTURE

After Clicking that you should get this:



Ok after clicking agree. Save the program to my desktop.

After the download you should have this on your desktop:



ok hope your doing fine.
click on the that setup icon on your desktop.

just keep clicking next until you get to this:



in this you choose whatever 'Full name' you want and for organization you put crossfire then keep clicking next and then finnish when you come to it.

After all that you should have another icon on your desktop which looks like this


open this up
ok after opening up you should get this, follow it in order!



Click on the arrow first ( -> ) then you click 'new' then choose whatever name you want!then click ok. the things after choosing name like phonetic/description are not needed. After doing this you should go back to this!

click the ( -> ) underneath the arrow you just clicked on the server link.

then this should appear;

Click new then again choose another name of your choice then ok.

then after clicking ok you come back to this:



enter the numbers i give you after pm ing me in to the specified boxes!
in hostname or IP put: pm me for info as it is classified
in port number put: pm me for info as it is classified

that is all you need to enter on that page! click ok after inserting these.
after clicking ok you need to click connect! after connecting click setup!:
you should get this:



click in that box to choose the button you want to press to speak. i use ctrl. you speak by pressing the selected button of your choice. you can not be heard unless you are holding this button. Also join loosers lounge for the kool people

if you run with vista you have right click on ventrilo on your desktop and run as administrator. then you will be able to speak in game. Xp users are fine just vista is messed up lol. o

I have vista and it works fine for me. All you have to do is make sure you run as administrator. If you don't, whatever button you use to press to talk will wait like 2 minutes and you won't be able to talk. OOOR it just comes on without telling you and you don't realize that it is on even when you are not holding down the button. That's what happens when you get vista and don't run as administrator. If you want to run as administrator...right click the program click the "Run as Administrator" button and click allow. That should let you do that.

.... you have a diff vent then the one u been on.... and if its the one u been on dont invite to many ppl becuz the owner of the vent has not said it was ok i dont think

Well, now we should switch to GSC there's a thread about that somewhere. Try it out it's pretty cool.
